Hiking through the woods! We will dive deep into the park and stomp around until we arrive at our destination for the day.

Silence & Storytime

Every day, we'll settle on the tarp for a short meditation called "The Silence," starting with just 30 seconds we progress each week. This helps us connect with nature and calm our bodies for better playtime together.

Afterward, teachers might share an improvised story "from the heart" or the whole group takes turns telling "circle stories" around an imaginary campfire.

Before diving into the fun, we always go over the rules/boundaries of our play area. We like to involve the kids in setting these rules, with a bit of guidance. This ensures a respectful and enjoyable space for everyone.

The timing and nature of these activities may vary based on the day's weather, group consensus, and overall vibe. They encompass a broad spectrum, including free play in open fields, yoga sessions, earth art, sketching or painting, dramatic play, exploratory hikes, digging, as well as building homes, boats, or rocket ships.

Following handwashing, we'll picnic outdoors on a tarp or inside the LeFrak Center. As we digest, it's customary for us to play with slime and listen to a story.

Once we've added the "finishing touches" to our play, we make a point to return any branches or materials we utilized to their designated "special place." This wraps up our play journey before making our way back for pickup.

Authorized pickups joyfully whisk the kids home, leaving laughter lingering until we meet again! The pickup spot is on the left side of the PLG Lincoln entrance to the Park – where the fun never stops! Drop-off/Pick-up Area
